Rockbox is an open source audio player. It has been in development since 2001 and receives new features, tweaks and fixes every day to provide you with the best possible music listening experience.
Important Features:
- Supports over 20 sound codecs:
- MP3, OGG, WAV, FLAC, game console music and many more
- Navigate music by folders or tag database
- Gapless playback and crossfading
- Ability to create your own themes
- Album art support
Something that would make this port much better would be using the shoulder buttons for back and next so I can hit it with the Pandora in my pocket. Also the ability to run Rockbox in a window would be great, then it would replace GMU for me. Rockbox has better EQ and cross feeding so I prefer it.

I like it, I figured out how to add just the media folder to a playlist so I guess that is fine, just tap and hold on the folder you want and then hit playlist catalog. This is my favorite replace firmware for DAPs, I had it installed on my Nano 2G until I got my Wiz.

The recent update to the rockbox 3.10 code base features better SID support. To be precise, it supports Mega drive, SNES and a few other consoles.

Doesn't have great SID support, but a nice player for MP3s

Hi Coldbird. Thanks for your feedback. As you pointed out, the database scanning is a generic rockbox "issue" and not specific to the Pandora port. So maybe raise your voice on rockbox.org.Jeffrey: The games are not supported yet as the key mappings are a lot of (boring) work.
