@porg: I just tested it with beta 4 and I don't get any errors. Maybe try to delete the appdata-folder for nightvision or re-install the java.pnd?

Starting Night Vision 3.0.1.1 under SuperZaxxon Beta 4 with Java PND installed, nevertheless gives me this error message: "There seems to be an unrecoverable error. Please rerun the installation proram." [sic]

Yes, it seems to be a lot more stable when overclocked to eg. 700MHz.

Excellent to see an astronomy program for the pandora; something that's been missing. Unfortunately, I've had real problems running this. It is very unstable and crashes lots, may be Java's fault (I have no other Java apps). I suppose we are still a long way from a port of Celestia or Stellarium!
